The three kidnapped Orekoya kids, Demola, Adedamola and Aderomola, who were declared missing have been rescued on Tuesday  in Shasha area of Akowonjo, Lagos State.
Unconfirmed reports say the kids were abandoned in an uncompleted building after their parents had paid an undisclosed ransom.
The kids were immediately taken to an undisclosed medical centre, where they underwent medical treatment.
State police boss, Kayode Aderanti, confirmed rescue of the kids, claiming the kids were abandoned when it dawned on the abductors that the police were close to arresting them.
He promised  that the abductors and the nanny, Mary Akinloye, would be arrested by the police.
Father of the kids, Lere Orekoya, confirmed rescue of the kids in a text message   sent to journalists.
It was gathered that family of the kidnapped kids negotiated with the abductors, who told them where to pick up the children.
The kid's  mother, Adesisi, had earlier thanked Nigerians for their support and prayers  on  Facebook.
“We give God all the Glory. Our Orekoya missing kids have been found. Thank you so much everyone for your prayers and moral, financial support all along. The list is endless, of awesome mothers, sisters, business partners, fathers and even kids, too. You’ve been amazing! May God grant all your heart desires, too! Much love always,” she wrote.
The children were allegedly kidnapped by Akinloye, 24 hours after she was employed by the family via OLX, an online sales portal, with an agreement of between N10,000 and N15,000 monthly salary.
