Survival of Judeo-Christian civilization depends on restoration of Church-State collaboration

By VLADIMIR MINKOV

In the contemporary world, two fundamentally different spiritual realms are fighting each other. One of them the realm of Judeo-Christian kingdom that should be governed by the Torah/Bible prescripts; the other one is the realm of Muslim kingdom governed by the Koran prescripts. In the Judeo-Christian kingdom, we believe we are creating a better world for everybody where people of all beliefs and traditions can live in peace and creatively collaborate with each other. In the Muslim kingdom, they believe they are creating a better world for the Muslim only and all non-Muslims, who are called infidels, should be spiritually or physically exterminated.

In the course of our history, we in the Judeo-Christian kingdom have created much better “civil liberties”, “human rights”, “individual wealth”, and “fair wealth distribution”. However, in spite of all that we are losing in the fight with the Muslim realm - the Muslims are not captivated by our achievements. Why?

It is so since in the last century we have been demolishing the Torah/Bible-based foundation for creating a better world for everybody, and have been erecting a human-ideas-based foundation of “human liberties” and “human rights”. We have stopped to be the truly religious people (God’s people as many may say) while the Muslims continue to be.

The truly religious people, as the Muslims are, think and act in the terms of eternity. They are less concerned with the accumulation of wealth in the course of their earthy life span – they are awaiting for the eternal spiritual wealth after this life. They are not afraid of losing anything in this life. The truly non-religious people do not believe in their own spiritual eternity and therefore are trying to preserve their life style in the earthy life span at any spiritual cost.

Many among us the people of Judeo-Christian civilization have recognized our inability to defend ourselves, to defend our core spiritual values and traditions, from Muslim conquest. However, not many among us have recognized the real reason for our surrender. The real reason is the spiritual separation of the State from the Church/Synagogue that led to replacement of the Torah/Bible-based legal framework of the State by what is needed to be elected and obtain the power. The political-power grabbing human laws are replacing the Torah/Bible-based Law.

The original constitutional clause for the State-Church separation was introduced not for replacing the Torah/Bible Law by human-invented laws but rather for preventing any church denomination to become the authoritarian power forcefully imposing its interpretation of the Torah/Bible Law on the others. The original constitutional clause for the State-Church separation was presented to secure equal rights for all church denominations in developing their own interpretations of the Torah/Bible Law and to peacefully compete with their interpretations in the human spiritual realm. Not just the Christians in the USA, the Jews in this country interpret wrongly the Church-State separation as well.

The wrong interpretation of the State-Church separation is reflected in the voting pattern of American Jews. The majority of them continue to vote for the Democratic Party and its President Obama in spite of his anti-Israel Muslim-oriented policies. Contrary to the voting patterns of American Jews, the majority of UK Jews now support the Tori (Conservative) Party since this party is pro-Israel – that is so since the UK from the very beginning has been governed by the Bible-based ideas in the interpretation of the Anglican Church.

The Muslims realized from the very beginning the spiritual danger of separating the Church from the State, and that provided them with the spiritual strength for conquering the much stronger economically Judeo-Christian civilization. While all countries of Judeo-Christian civilization are trying to get rid of any Church’s influence on the governance, the Muslim states proudly adhere to the Koran-based guidance. Of course, different Muslim countries interpret the Koran guidance differently and they resolve their theological differences by military means. However, all of them are united in fulfilling the Koran-based obligation to fight and eliminate the infidels who are people of non-Muslim religion.

Observing the decline of Judeo-Christian influence in the West during the last century, many suggest that this decline is in inverse proportion to the amount of accumulated wealth in the society – the wealthy people become complacent and no longer have a strong urge to protect the spiritual values. However, in the US, there are many wealthy and truly spiritual people, and they are using their wealth for Mitzvah/Charity as one of the corner stones of a better world for everybody. Those wealthy people have built all major universities, museums, social organizations, and so on in the USA. To do Mitzvah/Charity people have to accumulate wealth.

Other observers of the decline of Judeo-Christians influence in the USA attribute the decline to the multiculturalism that has come together with the mass immigration. However, the mass immigration was mostly from the countries of Judeo-Christian civilization – therefore the Judeo-Christian fundamentals should be in place. If they are not, that means they were lost in the old countries.

So who are to blame and what to do? It looks like we have to blame first our religious leaders – priests and rabbis. When the non-religious leaders had begun dismantling the Judeo-Christian foundation of our country the religious leaders, the priests and the rabbis, removed themselves from state’s governing institutions leaving the governance in the hands of non-religious leaders who are mostly liberals and secular humanists.

One of the commentators to my previous post elaborated on this observation in the following way: “Ironically, it is the liberals and secular humanists who helped create this cultural [religious] vacuum into which the Muslims are moving, because of their antagonism toward the West’s Judeo-Christian heritage, and their belief that only a secular set of values will in the end protect everyone against the dominance of any particular religion. So it is doubly ironic that when the Muslims attain the majority, it will be liberals, secularists and atheists targeted as the first candidates for the guillotine, in whatever form that takes in twenty-first century Islam. And the deepest irony of all? In their moral relativism, these people do not have the ideological tools or motivations to prevent the oncoming tidal wave. They will not be around anymore, so what does it matter? As you said so well, “The Muslims are fighting for their eternity (whatever it may mean) while the Europeans are trying to preserve their good life just for the time of their earthy life span.””

So what to do to stop the Muslim conquest of our Judeo-Christian realm? The answer is obvious:
• go back to governing along the lines of Torah/Bible-based Judeo-Christian foundation
• and ask the priests and the rabbis to help our secular leaders to do this.
