‘’Happiness is what you get when something happens, while joy is
something that warms up within you whether anything happens or not. The Bible
says in Psalms 16:11,’Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is
fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for ever more.
If you want the fullness of joy, you cannot get it from alcohol or drugs
but you have to go into the presence of God. Philippians 4:4 says, ‘And rejoice
in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice’.
Let your joy be because there is a relationship between you and the Lord.
…I cannot forget that Monday morning after the Sunday evening that I
became born again on July 29, 1973. The next day, I came to my office and the
first person that saw me was and made a comment was my professor, Professor
Chike Obi. He looked at me and asked whether it was my birthday anniversary. He
said, I was radiating.
In my office, my colleague also asked me what happened. He asked whether I attended a wedding
ceremony over the weekend.
I said, I did not but that I had just been given an invitation to one.

‘’What exactly do we mean by divine favour? It is easier to get the
meaning through its Yoruba translation, which is, the good face of God. This is
another way of saying that God has more than one face, that is, the good face
and probably the bad face. What divine favour simply means is that when God
looks at you, His heart is filled with joy and His face begin to radiate with

What can stop God from being God
‘’God will never lie. If you remove holiness from God, He ceases to be
God. The Bible says, the angels are singing just one anthem from eternity to eternity

On terrorism
‘’The devil has his champions. One example is Goliath. In 1 Samuel
17:4-11, the Bible told us that when Goliath stood up and began to talk, he
brought tremendous fear into the whole army of Israel. Thus, the first symbol
of a devil’s champion is terrorism. He is notorious. On the day that Goliath
needed the devil the most, however, that was the day the devil deserted him’’.

17. How the law of gravity does not apply in the kingdom of God
‘’Increase in the life of a child of God should be a perpetual affair.
Some people say whatever goes up must come down; that is not true of the
kingdom of God. In the kingdom, the law of gravity does not apply. You don’t have
to be too advanced mathematically to know that when you throw a stone up, it
climbs until it gets to a point when its ascent ceases. From that point, it
starts to make a downward movement. A mathematician will tell you that, at the
turning point, the velocity is zero. That is called the point of stagnation.
That shows that stagnation is the beginning of decline, which in turn is the

18. How to receive exponential increase
‘’Every believer in Christ can enjoy exponential increase. In fact, that
should be your desire as a child of God. Increase by addition is good, and
increase by multiplication is better, but exponential increase is the ultimate.
Trust God for it, and He shall do it for you. But first, you must get to know
the God of increase intimately. In this matter, there is no receiving the gift

19. Why you may be getting little from you much giving
‘’…You are wondering why you give so much and get little in return… 2
Corinthians 9:7 says, ‘Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let
him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver’.
God loves a cheerful giver. If you do not give cheerfully, then you gave
nothing. You do not need to be a good mathematician to know that the converse

20. Why God is not a racist
Racial intolerance. A racist believes that some human beings possess behavioral traits aligning with appearance, and can be judged on the bases of superiority of one race over another. It also means prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism aimed against other people because they are of a different race or ethnicity.
‘’ Before I came to America to attend the Kenneth Hagin camp meeting, I
had never seen a miracle. Then at the program, I saw people walking out of
wheel chairs. It was a starling experience to discover that miracles still

saw the Church of Yongi Cho where they were having seven services on a Sunday
morning and each service was attended by thousands of people. For the first
time in my life I heard a pastor telling his congregation, ’Please those of you
who have come this Sunday don’t come next Sunday because of those who could not
find space in the seven services of today; so that they would have their own
turn next Sunday.
After that I told the Almighty God that I was no longer satisfied with
the seventeen thousand. I want millions.

22. How to be the envy of the whole world
‘’Maybe you have not heard God’s voice in a long while. It may be because
you are not living in total obedience to the word of God. Total obedience to
the Holy Spirit is required if we wish to continually enjoy the fellowship of
the Holy Spirit. In other words, if you do all that He asked you to do, you
will become the envy of the whole world.
People ask me, ’How do you do it Pastor?
I tell them, ‘I obey by doing what He asks me to do at the right time’’.
