38.       How God’s favour can come upon you.

Special Praise Service @ RCCG

‘’On Thursday November 13, we had a Praise Night which preceded the Special Holy Ghost Service. …praise is one of the most powerful ways to bring down the presence of God to attract His favour. Those who worshipped God in Bible days left His presence with favour upon them’’. Time of Favour by Pastor E.A.Adeboye, page 4.

39.      You need more than strength to win your battles

‘’The impact and reality of divine favour is one of the ways the Lord has chosen to keep men humble: the battle is not always for the strong, even though strength is needed to win battles’’.  Time of Favour by Pastor E.A.Adeboye, page 5.

40.      What can change your history forever

‘’When God moves in His sovereignty to favour men, He displays His great power to do what is naturally impossible. Only an act of God’s favour in your life can change your history forever’’. Time of Favour by Pastor E.A.Adeboye, page 5.

41.      How do you know the time of favour?

‘’The time of favour is described in different ways in the Bible. Notwithstanding the differences, each case of the time of divine favour is characterized by abundance of joy, breakthroughs, miracles, & goodness from the Lord. One of the ways the Bible describes the time of God’s favour is by tagging it the time of divine remembrance.’’
‘’ And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.   And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:   And she called his name Joseph; and said, The Lord shall add to me another son.’’ Genesis 30:22 to 24.
The time of favour?
It is a time when God remembers & keeps His covenant. Exodus 2:24.
It is a time when God visits you. 1 Samuel 2:21
It is a time of showing God’s uncommon grace. Genesis 19: 19 to 21
It is a time when divine Presence accompanies you. Exodus 34:9.  Time of Favour by Pastor E.A.Adeboye, page 8, 10,12,15,17.

42.      Could it be that   God has forgotten you?

‘’But in the moment of God’s favour, the book of remembrance was opened for her (Rachel). It is amazing to read the expression, ‘God remembered Rachel’ in the Bible, as if the all-knowing God could forget anything. When the time of favour has not come, it looks like God does not think about a person & the prayer offered   during this time seems to rebound from a barrier above’’. Time of Favour by Pastor E.A.Adeboye, page 9.

43.    How does God perceive time?

God calls no-existent things as though they were already existing making His time different from human calendar. ‘’Many times, God speaks about future events as though they had already happened. He talks about what He wants to do as though He had already done it’’
‘’ (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.’’ Romans 4:17

‘’ Although, He set the movement of time in a way man could read it in terms of days, weeks, months & years, God dwells in eternity & His time doesn’t always agree to human time. For instance, a day in human calendar makes a thousand years before God & a thousand years in human calendar make a day before Him’’.
‘’ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as    a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day’’. 2 Peter 3:8Time of Favour by Pastor E . . . A.Adeboye, page 19 to 20.

44.   What happens in time of His favour?

‘’…In time of His favour, God controls the circumstances of a man’s life in order for the man to receive his miracle.
He orders the steps of your helpers to help you.
God makes your helpers to listen to you.
God creates opportunity for you to sow.
God personally asks for you.
